About me
I'm Dexter - you can call me Dex for short!
I am a UX/UI & Product Designer based in Melbourne Australia. I use a data-informed approach to design digital experiences that turn insights into growth.
In the digital world, I believe design is never done — there’s always more to learn, refine, optimise, and grow. I’m deeply curious by nature, constantly exploring new tools, technologies, and ways of thinking, including AI, to evolve how I design and solve problems. My skill set spans end-to-end: from user research through to leading and delivering polished, high-impact experiences. I’m a design communicator at heart, passionate about collaborating with people and organisations that think big, stay humble, and embrace growth through continuous evolution.
When I'm not designing, I'm shooting hoops, playing guitar, exploring the outdoors and generally slamming down way to many caffeinated bevereges.
Thanks for dropping by! ✌

My Design Ethos
1 Intentional
My work goes beyond aesthetics—every design choice is made with purpose. I strive to create experiences that not only look good but serve a clear function and meet real user needs.
2 Intuitive
At its core, great design feels effortless. I draw on established design patterns and user behavior insights to craft interfaces that guide users with clarity and precision—creating experiences that just make sense.
3 Informed
I take a data-driven approach that blends quantitative and qualitative research. I see design as an ongoing process—always open to refinement, learning, and growth through insight and iteration.
4 Inspired
I seek to understand why a brand exists—its origin, purpose, and the problem it's trying to solve. This insight shapes my design approach, ensuring the work is aligned, intentional, and true to its values.
